The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions against the Kyrgyz company - LLC "Kifiko"

Recently, the United Kingdom announced the imposition of sanctions against the Kyrgyz company LLC "Kifiko." The relevant information was published in official documents available here.

According to the UK Foreign Office, financial restrictions have been imposed on LLC "Kifiko," which include a ban on providing trust services, and these came into effect on December 18. This company is also subject to the general sanctions regime concerning measures directed against Russia.

The authorities suspect that this company may be involved in schemes to circumvent sanctions related to Russia. It is noted that "Kifiko" is actively operating in the financially strategic sector important to Russia and has provided services, resources, or technologies to the organization A7, which benefits from the support of the Russian government, according to the UK Foreign Office.

Additionally, it was previously reported that the EU sanctions list includes 21 individuals and 42 legal entities, as well as several organizations from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. These companies are suspected of facilitating the circumvention of previously imposed restrictions. The EU has banned them from conducting any transactions with European counterparties and accessing international payment systems.

Among the banks from Kyrgyzstan affected by EU sanctions are "Tolubay" and "Eurasian Savings Bank." Also included in the sanctions list are two Kyrgyz companies: LLC "Old Vector" and LLC "Grinex."
