He added that currently, projects worth an additional $300 million are under consideration, and $5.1 million has been allocated from the technical assistance fund.
Among the implemented and approved initiatives financed by the EDB in Kyrgyzstan, the following can be highlighted:
- the construction of the "Kulanak" hydropower plant with a capacity of 100 MW, with bank financing amounting to $44 million;
- the establishment of the "Bishkek Solar" solar power plant in the Issyk-Kul region with a capacity of 300 MW, where the bank's participation was $180 million;
- the modernization of the cement plant in Kant, financed for $49 million;
- the repair of the road in Osh with financing of $14 million.
