In Manas, there are plans to purchase an additional 50 buses to improve public transportation.

Kubanych Imanaliev, the vice-mayor of Manas, reported that with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the construction of a wastewater treatment complex in the city has been completed. During discussions with bank representatives, local authorities proposed several initiatives for further cooperation, among which was the need to update the bus fleet.

“Due to the growth of our city, we need another 50 buses. Deputies note that the current buses often experience delays on their routes, which creates problems. We have prepared all the necessary documents and have already sent a request for the purchase of new buses. If our initiative is supported, we will be able to significantly update the fleet within 1-2 years,” he added.

Currently, there are 60 municipal buses operating in Manas.
