At the XX session of the Manas City Council of the 10th convocation on December 8, the issue of increasing tariffs for municipal transport services was raised.

Deputy Director of the Manas Municipal Passenger Fleet Alimbek Shermatov reported that the fare within the city will increase from 15 soms to 20 soms.

“The fare to the village of Ak-Tilek will rise from 20 to 30 soms, and to the village of Tös-Kutçu — from 25 soms,” he added, noting that the price for schoolchildren will remain at 10 soms.

During the discussion, Deputy Aizad Ramatillaeva expressed concern about the intervals of municipal bus operations..

“Pay attention to the intervals. Schoolchildren have to wait a long time for buses after classes and freeze. We all have children, so it is important to solve this problem. It is necessary to consider the possibility of launching additional routes,” she emphasized.

In response, representatives of the fleet noted that the intervals between buses range from 7 to 10 minutes.

The deputies unanimously supported the initiative to increase tariffs.
