In Batken, 64 schoolchildren who relocated from the border area are studying in nearby schools

In the Batken region, in the village of Zhany-Dostuk, 64 children who have relocated from border areas with their families are studying in nearby educational institutions. Additionally, 23 children attend kindergarten.

The main educational institutions that the schoolchildren travel to are located in the village of Buzhum and in the urban gymnasiums of Batken. The distance between the new village and the city exceeds 5 kilometers. The cost of transportation is 40 soms, but students receive a discount and pay only 20 soms.

Currently, a new school and kindergarten are actively being constructed in the village of Zhany-Dostuk.

A total of 181 families from border areas, who were previously exchanged with Tajikistan, have relocated to this village. To support the displaced persons, 1,380 bags of coal were provided free of charge.
