In the Suzak district, a madrasa has been temporarily closed after one of the students was hospitalized.

According to the provided information, at the religious educational institution located in the Bagysh rural district, one of the students was diagnosed with meningitis, which led to the introduction of quarantine measures.

Elzhigit Nurpaizov, the director of the madrasa, noted that inaccurate rumors began to circulate around the situation. "Our madrasa has 154 children enrolled, starting from the 7th grade. In mid-October, one of the students contracted meningitis, received treatment in the hospital, and has fully recovered. However, after his hospitalization, false information began to spread in the community. The educational institution was placed under observation, and the students were quarantined for 10 days. Additionally, in accordance with the requirements of the sanitary and epidemiological service, the madrasa has temporarily closed, but we plan to reopen it in the coming days," he added.

In the Jalal-Abad region, there are 32 religious educational institutions operating under the muftiate, including 14 madrasas, 3 institutes, and 15 religious educational centers.
