In the Leilek district of the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, ethnic Kyrgyz who have resettled from Tajikistan have received certificates confirming their "kairylman" status.

Ulukbek Zheemuratov, the deputy akim of the Leilek district, reported that 61 people have submitted applications for status registration.
“At the moment, status has been granted to 31 people. Another 30 will receive certificates in December. Among them are people of different ages, and we are trying to support them as much as possible,” he added.
