Residents of border territories in the Leilek district are relocating to new homes

In the Leilek district, the resettlement of about 40 families into new residential houses has begun.

According to the results of the delimitation of the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as the exchange of land plots, construction work for new housing for local residents has started in the Batken region.

According to information provided by the presidential representative office, 60 new houses have been built in the village of Razzakov, which is part of the rural district of Kulundu, and 16 in the village of Maksan. A total of 76 residential buildings have been erected. Work is also underway in the new residential complexes to pave internal roads and install fences around the houses.

Currently, residents of border areas are gradually starting to move into these new buildings. At present, about 40 families have already relocated to the new houses, including residents from the villages of Maksan, Sada, Razzakov, and Selken.
