According to Aftandil Maksutov, the head of the municipal bus fleet under the city administration, this is related to the installation of new equipment, including electronic validators and GPS systems.
“During the installation of new software and monitors, we expect this to take about three days. We have informed residents about this situation in advance. Currently, instead of 10 municipal buses, 20 private minibuses are operating on the routes. Approximately 30 routes continue to serve passengers as usual. Additionally, 5 electric buses are in operation. However, due to the replacement of transport, some passengers may experience delays,” he noted.
The city has a total of 60 municipal buses available.
