A fire broke out in the southeastern part of the Bishkek sanitary landfill. Currently, the fire has been localized, and there is no threat of spreading, reports the Bishkek city administration.
To extinguish the fire, two fire crews from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bishkek were involved, as well as services from the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" and "Bishkekzelenstroy," each deploying one water truck.
Since the likelihood of spontaneous combustion has been ruled out, the Bishkek city administration has contacted the relevant authorities to investigate the causes and circumstances of the incident.
