A fire broke out in the southeastern part of the city at the municipal enterprise "Bishkek Sanitary Landfill." This was reported by the press service of the Bishkek city administration.
According to information from the city authorities, the fire has been localized, and no further spread is observed.
Two fire crews from the city's Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to extinguish the fire, and the services of "Tazalyk" and "Bishkekzelenstroy" were also involved, each using one water truck.
"Since the likelihood of spontaneous combustion is excluded, the city administration has contacted the relevant authorities to investigate the causes and circumstances of the incident," the press release states.
