Analysts of the EDB forecast GDP growth of Kyrgyzstan at 9.3% by the end of 2026
In the structure of lending, there is a decrease in the share of loans provided for trade, which has decreased to 26% of the total volume of loans. Last year, this figure was 35%.
Against this background, the share of consumer lending has increased by 11.2 percentage points, reaching 45.9% of the total loan portfolio. As a result, 76% of the dynamics of lending is due to the increase in new consumer loans.
“This will help support domestic demand at the beginning of the year and will influence the growth of economic activity. We expect GDP to grow by 9.3% by the end of 2026,” emphasize bank experts.
