In the Chon-Alai district, within the framework of the "Arsenal" raid, law enforcement officers checked the owners of firearms, as reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region.

As a result of these activities, eight citizens were fined for failing to comply with the rules for storing and re-registering their weapons.

Additionally, during the raid, 5 traumatic pistols and 2 smoothbore firearms were temporarily confiscated from citizens and transferred for safekeeping to the district internal affairs department.

In accordance with Article 133 of the Code of Offenses, which regulates the rules for storing and transporting firearms, gas, pneumatic, throwing, and electric weapons, 6 protocols were drawn up. Each violator was fined 3,000 soms.

Also, under Article 134, paragraph 1, 2 protocols were issued for violating the deadlines for registering firearms and other weapons. A fine of 3,000 soms was also imposed on each for this.

Law enforcement officers conducted explanatory work with local residents, strongly urging them to surrender any unregistered weapons and ammunition to the police, if they have any.
