Raid "Arsenal" in Nooken: Violations of Weapon Storage and Illegal Hunting Identified

During the conducted raid "Arsenal" in the Nooken district, one person was detained for illegal possession of firearms, and four other citizens faced fines for violating storage regulations.

This information was provided by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region.

According to the press service, employees of the Nooken District Department of Internal Affairs checked the storage conditions and the availability of permits from owners of registered firearms as part of the "Arsenal" raid.

"The results of the inspection showed that protocols were drawn up against four citizens under Article 134 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on offenses due to violations of weapon storage rules. They were imposed a total fine of 12,000 soms. One of the citizens voluntarily surrendered illegally stored firearms to the police. During the operations, a resident of the Nooken district, known as T.Sh., was also detained for using a 16-gauge firearm without the necessary documents and engaging in hunting. He has been handed over to the investigative authorities," the press release states.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
