The quality of agricultural products intended for export is largely determined by the quality of the raw materials used, as well as compliance with veterinary and sanitary standards. This was stated on the radio by Tilek Tabaldiev, who heads the veterinary and sanitary safety department at the veterinary service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry.

According to Tabaldiev, at the stage of raw material acceptance, processors carry out thorough control. In the event of detecting non-compliant products, they are either returned to the suppliers or subject to disposal or destruction in accordance with established rules.

He noted that there are strict requirements for meat products outlined in the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union. "Animals must arrive for slaughter with the necessary veterinary documents, undergo identification, vaccination, quarantine, and veterinary and sanitary examination. Based on the inspection results, the veterinarian issues a conclusion on the suitability of the products," he added.

Furthermore, the head of the department reported that there are sometimes issues with documentation at the border during exports. In such cases, the issues are resolved in a working manner through cooperation with the relevant services of other countries.
