- The Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mirbek Duyshiev, reported on February 11 that funding for breeding farms is not provided through the "FSH-14" program. Separate mechanisms for preferential lending are in place for such farms.

According to Duyshiev, there is a specialized program aimed at supporting breeding livestock, which offers more favorable conditions.

"Breeding farms cannot expect funding under the FSH-14 program. Instead, they receive funds through the breeding livestock program, where the conditions are more attractive: loans are issued at 3% per annum, and amounts can reach 20 million soms," he noted.

In addition, the deputy minister emphasized that the "FSH" program is currently focused on social aspects and is aimed at providing operational support to farmers during the spring fieldwork. Separate state programs are available for cluster associations, as well as breeding and nursery farms, which offer larger loan amounts and various financing conditions.
