He emphasized that currently, farmers are engaged in growing and harvesting crops but face inadequate conditions for storing their products. Many warehouses do not meet established standards, and the lack of refrigeration units leads to products beginning to spoil just 10 days after harvest.
"The government has already allocated funds for the development of the necessary infrastructure. In particular, support is being provided to farmers in preparing projects and developing business plans," the minister noted.
Additionally, financing for the construction of warehouses, refrigerators, and logistics centers is provided through banks at an annual interest rate of 6%.
Torobaev also announced plans to launch a new project in the next two to three months, which will include the allocation of additional funds for the construction of warehouses, processing enterprises, and small production workshops.
"A relevant resolution is currently being developed," he added.
The minister noted that in the long term, it is planned to ensure the availability of at least one warehouse or logistics center for every 500 hectares of agricultural land.
