Since the start of dismantling work on unit No. 2, which began on February 10 after its acceptance, the process has been ongoing without interruptions. Work is carried out daily from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and even during the celebration of the Chinese New Year on February 16-17, the construction team continued to fulfill its obligations, increasing working hours.
The dismantling is proceeding at an intensive pace
On February 16, the removal of the generator rotor was successfully completed, and work continues on the disassembly of the rotor and stator. According to the established schedule:
- The dismantling of the generator is planned to be completed by February 22;
- The transition to the dismantling of the turbine is scheduled for late February - early March;
- The completion of all dismantling work on hydro unit No. 2 is expected in early March.
At the moment, there are no delays in the schedule.
In parallel with the dismantling, work continues on the preparation of new equipment. The stator of the new generator for unit No. 2 is fully assembled at the assembly site and has passed electrical tests, while the generator rotor is 50% assembled.
