Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, who previously held the position of Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, announced his decision to resign from his parliamentary mandate. He made this announcement on his social media page.
In his address, he congratulated the people on the beginning of the holy month of Orozo and refuted rumors that have been circulating about him.
“In the holy month of Orozo, I want to state that I have not been involved in any intrigues. The letter that caused public resonance was published while I was abroad, and I learned about it only later,” he added.
According to him, his departure from the parliamentary body is related to a deterioration in his health.
