Currently, the dismantling of hydro unit No. 2 is being carried out as the first stage of the station's equipment upgrade, involving 19 specialists. The main tasks include:
• Transporting the dismantled units to the warehouse for further inspection and disposal.
• Simultaneously, active work is underway on design: project documentation is being created, production work plans and schedules are being prepared, technical materials are being translated, and executive documentation is being arranged.
Equipment Supply
New components for hydro unit No. 2 are arriving at the warehouse of the Tash-Kumyr Cascade HPP. As of today:
• All components for the stator, rotor, control systems, monitoring, electrical protection, water cooling, and grounding of the generator have been supplied;
• The supply of debris-retaining grids for the water conduit has been completed;
• The supply of components for the generator and the runner has been partially completed.
• The overall supply level of equipment for hydro unit No. 2 is 47.3%.
The main goal of the modernization of the Uch-Kurgan HPP is to enhance the reliability and efficiency of electricity production, as well as to extend the service life of the equipment. This project will positively impact energy security and contribute to the economic development of Kyrgyzstan.
