In response, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Agriculture Erlis Akunbekov noted that water resource management is not just the task of one ministry, but a matter that requires a comprehensive approach at the state level.
Gulya Kozhokulova expressed the opinion that the establishment of a specialized ministry would be advisable, as the existing structure does not allow for effective resolution of issues related to irrigation and land reclamation in the regions.
