"1.7 billion soms allocated for irrigation development in 2025, - Ministry of Agriculture"

In 2025, the republic allocated 1.7 billion soms for the development of the irrigation system, as reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Erlis Akunbekov at a meeting held on February 27 at "Yntymak Ordo".

Akunbekov noted that project work is currently underway on 41 facilities, while construction work is being carried out on 33 facilities. "At the moment, we are conducting construction and restoration work on 10 facilities, while design work is ongoing on 24 facilities," the minister added.
