Two killed, Bishkek resident in critical condition: New details of the accident on the Bishkek-Naryn road

The victims of the road traffic accident on the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart bypass road have been identified.

According to Turmush, the incident occurred on March 1 at the 100th kilometer of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway, where three vehicles collided, resulting in the deaths of two people.

According to the Kemin Territorial Hospital, five people were hospitalized after the accident. One of them, a resident of Bishkek, B.E., born in 2003, is in critical condition and has already undergone emergency surgery.

Medical assistance was also sought by:

- V.O., born in 2003 [male];

- S.Ch., born in 1987 [female];

- Ch.E., born in 1999 [male].

At the moment, one victim continues treatment in the surgical department of the Kemin Hospital, while another, after receiving first aid, refused hospitalization and left for treatment in Bishkek.

The third victim was transported by a private ambulance to Bishkek City Hospital No. 4 (BNTCTiO) for specialized assistance as directed.

Turmush reports that the accident occurred around 16:30. The driver of the "Hyundai Sonata," traveling from east to west, crossed into the oncoming lane while overtaking a "Nissan Serena," which led to a collision with an "Audi C4" that was coming towards it.

According to the press service of the Traffic Police of the Chui Regional Department of Internal Affairs, the passenger of the "Audi C4," T.B.Sh., born in 1958, died at the scene. The driver of this vehicle, K.Sh.N., born in 1951, died on the way to the hospital, never regaining consciousness.

An investigation into the circumstances of this traffic accident is currently ongoing.
