The accident happened on December 15 at around 10:00 at the 492nd kilometer of the road, near the village of Bürgen Dü in the Nooken district.
According to eyewitness accounts, a head-on collision occurred between a "Changan" and a "Hyundai Grandeur," leading to injuries for six individuals.
The traffic safety department of the Jalal-Abad region confirmed the information about the accident. The cause of the incident was that the driver of the "Changan" crossed into the oncoming lane, which led to the collision.
"As a result of the accident, both drivers and passengers of both vehicles were injured. Six of them were taken to the territorial hospital in the city of Shamaldy-Say. Currently, investigative actions are being conducted regarding the accident," the traffic safety department reported.
The chief physician of the Shamaldy-Say hospital, Manas Mederkanov, noted that the condition of the injured is stable. "Currently, five individuals who were admitted after the accident are in our surgical department. Their condition is assessed as moderate. All have been diagnosed with concussions, two have leg fractures, and one has an open traumatic brain injury. All patients are under the care of medical staff, and the information has been forwarded to the relevant authorities," the chief physician added.
