There were four people in the passenger car, including a mother and child, who unfortunately died at the scene. The other two passengers were injured and taken to the hospital.
According to medical sources, the woman and child died instantly. One of the injured, a schoolgirl, was urgently transported to Bishkek for treatment, while another woman, who underwent surgery at the Jumgal District Hospital, is currently in intensive care in serious condition.
According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Naryn Region, the accident occurred at kilometer 173 of the Balikchy-Kazarman road within the village of Baizak.
Preliminary information indicates that the driver of the truck "Shacman," T.E., was traveling from north to south. At a dangerous turn, he attempted to overtake a "KamAZ" truck driven by I.K. At that moment, the passenger car "Honda Odyssey," driven by T.D., was coming from the opposite direction.
During the overtaking maneuver, the driver of the "Honda Odyssey" crossed into the oncoming lane, leading to a collision with the "KamAZ" truck driven by K.I. This was the cause of the accident.
As a result of the incident, two people from the "Honda Odyssey" died, and several others sustained various injuries.
The trucks "Shacman" and "KamAZ," as well as the passenger car "Honda Odyssey," were placed in a tow lot.
This incident has been recorded in the crime and incident log of the Jumgal District Department of Internal Affairs, and an investigation is currently underway.
