Deputy Burul Amanova raised the issue of the Kadamjay Antimony Plant at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee held on March 9, 2026. She noted that this enterprise was once significant on a global scale, but is currently managed by a private company.

During the discussion, Amanova inquired about the results of the expert assessments conducted regarding the plant. She also emphasized the dangers associated with antimony for human health.

In response to the deputy's question, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision Asel Raimkulova acknowledged that she did not have current information on the matter and requested that data be provided in the future.

At that time, the committee was hearing a report on the activities of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision for the year 2025.
