He reported that recently several delegations from Kyrgyzstan visited China, where Kyrgyz representatives offered local companies to open their production facilities in the republic or relocate part of their manufacturing capacities.
Seiitov added that changes in global trade could open new opportunities for Kyrgyzstan.
“You know what is happening between China and the USA, where tariffs on Chinese products have been introduced — 10, 20, 50% and even more. This creates an opportunity for the Kyrgyz Republic to take advantage of the situation,” he noted.
In his opinion, such conditions could be beneficial not only for Kyrgyzstan but also for other countries in the region located near China, allowing them to export their products to markets that were previously occupied by Chinese goods.
