- According to Satkynov, the epizootic situation in Kyrgyzstan remains stable. In his speech on the radio, he noted that the veterinary service regularly receives up-to-date information from city and district veterinary departments.

“We receive operational data every week from all regions, cities, and villages. Currently, there are no recorded cases of infectious diseases among animals in the republic,” he emphasized.

For preventive measures, the necessary veterinary vaccines and biopreparations have already been sent to the regions. In 2026, 135 million soms have been allocated from the state budget for these needs. These funds are directed towards the purchase of vaccines, veterinary drugs, and antihelminthics.

Satkynov also reported on the vaccination against brucellosis in lambs and heifers aged three to six months.

“Since the vaccine against brucellosis is quite expensive, its funding is provided by the state. This year, it is planned to vaccinate 350,000 heifers of the specified age throughout the republic,” he added.

In addition, vaccination of dogs against rabies continues. According to the veterinary service, there are approximately 226,000 dogs registered in Kyrgyzstan, which are vaccinated against rabies annually.
