The increase in mutual trade was discussed by Amangeldiev and the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic

A meeting took place in Bishkek between the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev and the new Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Altamash Wazir Khan. This event symbolized the beginning of the ambassador's diplomatic mission in the country.

According to information from the government, the negotiations addressed current issues and opportunities for expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in the fields of trade, economy, investment, and logistics.

Amangeldiev congratulated the new ambassador on the start of his work and noted that an important stage in bilateral relations was established during the state visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Pakistan in December of last year.

The parties agreed on the necessity to increase the volume of mutual trade and to activate cooperation in the areas of investment and energy.

Altamash Wazir Khan, for his part, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and confirmed Islamabad's interest in developing partnership relations with Bishkek.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Daniyar Amangeldiev thanked the ambassador for the constructive dialogue and expressed confidence that his diplomatic experience would contribute to the further development of bilateral partnership.
