- On March 12, 2026, the Rosselkhoznadzor conducted control over the import of fresh carrots from Kyrgyzstan in the Perm Krai, where the first batch weighing 20.7 tons was inspected. This information was received from the Rosselkhoznadzor office for the Kirov region, Udmurt Republic, and Perm Krai.

Last year, during this period, similar products did not arrive in the region.

Officials from the agency, together with specialists from the Perm branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIKR," conducted an inspection of the shipping documents and took samples at the place of arrival. A phytosanitary certificate was provided for the carrots.

As a result of the quarantine phytosanitary control, no violations were found, and quarantine organisms were not detected in this batch of products. A quarantine control (supervision) act was issued for the products, which permits their use for the intended purpose.
