According to Bloomberg, Turkey has called on the Arab states of the Persian Gulf not to engage in military actions against Iran.

Sources report that Ankara is actively working to prevent these countries from participating in the conflict that has erupted between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other.

In this regard, Turkey insists on the need for restraint from Gulf countries. As part of its diplomatic efforts, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan visited Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, as well as held phone conversations with colleagues from other countries in the region.

It was previously reported that leading Persian Gulf states, such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, are experiencing growing discontent due to Iranian attacks that have already affected key facilities, including ports and airports. However, they are only prepared to intervene in the conflict if Iran carries out its threats to attack critical energy and water resources in the region, which, according to sources, is a sufficiently high threshold for the initiation of military actions.
