The Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Erlis Akunbekov met with Rapil Zhoshybaev, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, various aspects of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation were discussed. Special attention was paid to the implementation of previously reached agreements between the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The parties expressed their readiness to deepen bilateral relations, emphasizing trade and economic ties. The importance of supporting the implementation of projects in areas such as agriculture, infrastructure, logistics, and the water-energy complex was also highlighted.

Erlis Akunbekov noted that the strategic partnership and allied relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan would serve as the foundation for strong and trusting dialogue, as well as effective cooperation on all issues of mutual interest.

At the end of the meeting, the schedule of upcoming high-level events involving both countries was discussed, as well as issues related to expanding the legal framework.
