In the latest Forbes ranking dedicated to the wealthiest people on the planet under 40, three Americans caught special attention — Adarsh Hiremath, Brendan Fudi, and Surya Midha. All of them are the founders of a startup in the field of artificial intelligence called Mercor.
These 22-year-old friends began their collaboration back in their school days, and in 2023 they decided to join forces to create an innovative platform designed for recruitment using AI algorithms.
According to estimates by private investors conducted in October, the value of Mercor reached an impressive $2.2 billion. This achievement allowed the young entrepreneurs to surpass Mark Zuckerberg, who became the youngest billionaire at 23 years old in 2007.
The creators of Mercor emphasize that their developments help minimize the influence of subjective factors in candidate selection. Unlike traditional interviews, where much depends on the opinion of HR, their algorithms offer a more objective approach to assessing the professional skills of applicants.
