Forbes has published its data on the earnings of Formula 1 drivers for the 2025 season, taking into account guaranteed salaries and bonuses for on-track results, such as wins, podiums, and points scored. However, income from advertising contracts was not included in this ranking.

At the top of the earnings list is Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who has become the highest-paid driver for the fifth consecutive time. Despite not having a championship title, his income amounted to 76 million dollars. The majority of this sum came from his base contract, while he earned 11 million euros in bonuses for eight victories.

Lewis Hamilton, making his debut with Ferrari, took the second spot in the ranking. The Briton was unable to reach the podium in his new team, which negatively affected his bonuses, totaling only 500 thousand dollars. Nevertheless, his total income reached 70.5 million dollars, allowing him to maintain his status as one of the highest-paid drivers in Formula 1.

The financial performance of Formula 1 drivers, as shown by the Forbes ranking, is directly dependent on their success on the track. Championship leaders continue to earn tens of millions of dollars each season.
