This information was announced by the Ombudsman Institute of Kyrgyzstan

An investigation has been initiated in Shymkent regarding the case of labor slavery involving sisters from Kyrgyzstan. As reported by the law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan, a check is being conducted on this matter.

“Currently, an investigation is underway, and the results will be published later,” the police added.

It should be noted that the Ombudsman Institute of Kyrgyzstan reported that the mother of the girls from the Osh region contacted them. She stated that in March of last year, a citizen K.K. took her daughters, aged 16 and 18, to Shymkent for work. According to her, at the new location, the daughters were subjected to violence and forced to perform hard labor. With the assistance of the Kyrgyz consulate and the local diaspora, the girls were located in Shymkent, and after a court hearing regarding the violation of migration legislation, they returned home.
