In Bishkek, 150 people were involved in the search for citizens who fell into the canal
In the Sverdlovsk district of the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, large-scale search and rescue operations have begun following an incident where people fell into a technical channel of the CHPP. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that 150 people are involved in the operations.

According to the agency, 90 rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as 30 employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 30 municipal workers are engaged in the search. The coordination of the work is being carried out by Deputy Minister Ernest Jusupov.

The incident occurred on December 30, when three citizens fell into the canal. One body has already been found and handed over to the police. The search for the other two individuals — J.J., born in 1963, and J.T., born in 1966 — continues with increased intensity.

Additional information will be provided later, the ministry clarified.
