Dozens of people are combing the banks of the Naryn River after a man fell into the water

In Kara-Kul, efforts continue to search for a 53-year-old man who, according to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Jalal-Abad region, drowned in the Naryn River. A total of 68 people are participating in the operation.

It is reported that the incident occurred on the night of November 20 at around 00:40. The duty service received a signal from the emergency situations department of Kara-Kul that a man born in 1972 with the initials U. E. was missing in the river.

Immediately after receiving the message, 5 rescuers from Fire Station No. 94 were dispatched to the scene to begin search operations. However, due to insufficient visibility at night, the operation had to be temporarily suspended.

Currently, the search efforts involve:

— 18 rescuers from Fire Station No. 94;

— 5 employees from the 2nd Republican Emergency Situations Unit;

— 15 representatives from the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Kara-Kul;

— 25 local residents;

— 4 ambulance service workers;

— 1 employee from the Toktogul Hydroelectric Power Station with a drone.

The search groups have been divided into teams and continue their efforts in the search.
