The MES helicopter took off on November 6 at the direction of Minister Boobek Azhikeev to evacuate the victim.
At the scene, 28 rescuers have been working since early morning, including 16 MES employees, and six units of equipment have been deployed.
Recall that on November 5, a 30-year-old driver named K.E. got stuck in snowdrifts on the Jalal-Abad—Kazarmin route and requested assistance.
Four rescuers from the Toguz-Torou district department of the MES, four police officers, local authorities, and representatives of a foreign company with a loader were involved in the rescue operation. Rescuers from the Republican Specialized Rescue Squad of the MES are also participating.
Colonel Ch. Shekenov, head of the MES department for the Jalal-Abad region, held an operational meeting where he decided to involve two additional heavy machines for road clearing.
Additional information on the progress of the rescue operation will be provided later.
- It is important to note that the section of the road at the Sary-Kyr pass has been officially closed since October 1, 2025, according to the orders of the akims of the Toguz-Torou and Suzak districts.
