Since early morning, 28 people have been working at the scene, including 16 MES employees. Six units of equipment were involved in the search and rescue operations.
It is reminded that on November 5, on the Jalal-Abad — Kazarman highway, in the area of the Sary-Kyr pass, a 30-year-old citizen named K.E. found himself in a snowdrift and called for help. On the same day, four employees from the Toguz-Torou district department of the MES, four representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, local authorities, and specialists from China Railway International, who provided loading equipment, were involved in his rescue. In addition, rescuers from the Republican Separate Rescue Unit of the MES participated in the operation.
The head of the MES department for the Jalal-Abad region held an operational meeting and instructed to immediately continue the rescue work. To expedite the process of clearing the road, two heavy engineering vehicles from China Railway International were engaged.
It is worth noting that since October 1, traffic over the Sary-Kyr pass on the Jalal-Abad — Kazarman highway has been suspended according to the orders of the administrations of the Toguz-Torou and Suzak districts.
