On January 20, the supply of drinking water will be temporarily suspended in some microdistricts of Bishkek. From 09:00 to 02:00, residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens, medical facilities, and other social objects will be disconnected. This was announced by the press service of the capital's mayor's office.
The areas where water supply will be stopped:
- microdistricts No. 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10;
- Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue, Abdrahmanov Street, Bakaev Street, Masaliev Avenue, Toktonaliev Street, Atatürk Park, Akhunbaev Street, Alamedin River, YUBCHK, Baytik Baatyr Street, Ala-Archa River, Semetey Street.

The reasons for the disconnection are related to the installation of valves on a 600-millimeter diameter pipeline and a 400-millimeter diameter bypass, as well as the relocation of a 600-millimeter diameter water pipeline from the territory on Rysmendiev Street, 1/1.
The municipal company "Bishkekvodokanal" strongly recommends that residents and organizations stock up on drinking water in advance.
