In the city of Osh, the activities of a criminal group involved in drug trafficking, specifically the distribution of Afghan-origin hashish in large quantities, have been halted.
According to information provided by the press service of the State Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on March 2, as part of the operation "Den", a citizen named K.S.D., born in 1989, was detained while attempting to sell the narcotic substance.
It was later revealed that the leader of this drug group is M.A.A., born in 1974. A search was conducted at his residence, during which significant stocks of Afghan-origin hashish were found and seized.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which covers the illegal production of drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale.
According to law enforcement agencies, forensic chemical examinations have been appointed for the seized narcotic products and weapons.
Currently, investigative actions and operational measures are ongoing.
