Nevertheless, N. V. I. was found guilty on other episodes related to "Theft or extortion of narcotic drugs" and "Abuse of official position," for which he was sentenced to 13 years in prison with confiscation of property and a three-year ban on holding positions in law enforcement agencies.
Another officer, Zh. A. Zh., was also acquitted under the article "Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of large-scale sale" due to lack of evidence of a crime. However, he was also sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and a three-year ban on holding positions in law enforcement agencies for articles related to "Theft" and "Illegal production of narcotic drugs."
It is worth noting that the arrest of the officers from the Drug Control Service occurred in May 2025, when employees of the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic suspected them of tampering with evidence.
