According to the data, on October 6, Judge M. A. M. issued a ruling, finding Maripov guilty on several counts of the Criminal Code, including "Calls for mass riots and violence" and "Public calls for the seizure of power." As a result, he was sentenced to six years in prison.

It is worth noting that Maripov had previously criticized the president's chief of staff, Kanibek Tumanbaev, and the head of the information policy department, Daiyrbek Orunbekov.
