Earlier, on September 17, the Pervomaisky District Court charged operators Alexander Alexandrov and Joomart Duulatov, as well as accountants N.O. and K.E., under articles 40 ("Perpetrator of the crime") and 278 part 3 ("Calls for active disobedience to lawful demands of authorities and for mass riots, as well as calls for violence against citizens") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result, the operators were sentenced to five years in prison, while the accountants managed to avoid imprisonment by receiving probation.
Now, in the second instance, the operators have been released under probationary supervision for a period of three years. The other aspects of the sentence remain unchanged.
