Today, the request of the Attorney General regarding former judges S.B., J.M., and K.A. was considered. This pertains to a criminal case related to offenses described in parts 1, 2 of Article 336, paragraph 2 of part 3 of Article 342, paragraph 2 of part 2 of Article 343, as well as paragraphs 1, 2 of part 2 of Article 344, paragraphs 1, 2 of part 2 of Article 345, and part 1 of Article 352 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to a representative of the Council of Judges, after hearing the report and discussing the conclusions of the disciplinary commission, it was decided to satisfy the request of the Attorney General and grant consent to bring the former judges to criminal responsibility.
These judges are connected to the case of Kumarbeka Abdyrova, a taxi driver suspected of committing a number of crimes against girls, including minors. They were part of the panel that previously reduced the sentence for the accused.
Recall that at the end of September, 17-year-old Aysulu Mukasheva was brutally murdered in the Issyk-Kul region. The suspect became 41-year-old Kumarbeka Abdyrov, who had a prior criminal record. The investigation established that he took the girl to an apple orchard near the "Azamat" beach in the village of Jenish, where around 1:00 PM he assaulted her. Then, in the vicinity of the village of Kaji-Sai in the Ton district, he strangled Aysulu.
Later, the suspect also confessed to the rape and murder of a pregnant woman named Kamila Duyshbaeva, as well as Aysulu Mukasheva.
