Taichabarov is accused under part 2 of article 261 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to the creation or participation in an organized criminal group.
He was previously detained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, suspected of connections with organized criminal groups.
According to materials provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kudret Taichabarov expressed his intention to participate in the elections for deputies, however, his candidacy was rejected by the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums.
