According to the case materials published in the State Register of Judicial Acts, on February 28, 2025, around 01:00, the accused Aman [name changed A.T.A.] engaged in sexual intercourse with the minor A.N. in a parked car, fully aware that she was not yet sixteen years old.
According to investigative data, five similar incidents were recorded — on February 26, February 28, March 6, May 3, and May 6, 2025.
The Jetiguz District Court found him guilty on five counts under Article 157 of the Criminal Code and imposed a sentence of 8 years and 6 months of imprisonment.
Dissatisfied with the decision, Aman filed an appeal, claiming that he did not have sexual relations with the victim and requested the court's decision to be overturned.
The lawyer also filed a similar appeal, pointing to the results of the forensic medical examination, which found no traces of sexual contact on the minor's body.
The legal representative of the victim also approached the court with a statement that no crime had occurred and that the girl had lied; she requested that Aman be declared innocent.
In light of these circumstances, the defense requested the acquittal of Aman and the overturning of the guilty verdict.
The Issyk-Kul Regional Court, having reviewed the materials, changed the verdict issued by the district court on October 8, 2025.
The resolution part of the verdict included a clarification regarding the serving of the sentence [one day of detention equals two days of imprisonment].
The other parts of the verdict remained unchanged, and the appeals were dismissed. The verdict comes into legal force from the moment it is announced, and any party may appeal it to the Supreme Court.
