According to information from the Habertürk television channel, the Supreme Court of Turkey ruled that a man who actively liked other women on social media is responsible for the divorce. The court ordered him to pay his ex-wife 500,000 lira as compensation, as well as 5,000 lira monthly in alimony.

The lawsuit was filed by the woman in the Supreme Court after the case was considered in the Kayseri court. In her statement, she pointed to systematic humiliation by her husband, his infidelity, and insufficient financial support. All these factors were deemed sufficient by the court to dissolve the marriage due to the husband's fault.

The Supreme Court upheld the Kayseri court's decision, finding the man guilty of the divorce and establishing the amounts for compensation and alimony.

This ruling has set a precedent that may influence other couples considering divorce for similar reasons.
