Abakirov's representative, Atyr Abdrakhmatova, reported that the court dismissed the lawsuit concerning the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) regarding the election results and the alleged bribery of voters.
Abdrakhmatova emphasized that the court recognized the CEC's decision as justified and legal, adding that Abakirov intends to file a cassation appeal to the Supreme Court.
For reference, Abakirov had previously filed a lawsuit in the Administrative Court contesting the election results and accusing of voter bribery.
The lawsuit stated that the CEC did not take into account Abakirov's and others' statements regarding the facts of bribery carried out in the interests of candidate Mederbek Sakkaraev.
According to information from law enforcement agencies, Nurlan Sharshenaliev admitted to distributing 460,000 soms to voters in constituency No. 26 with the aim of buying their votes in favor of the aforementioned candidate.
The lawsuit also noted that at the final meeting, the CEC did not consider the fact that on November 20, 2025, candidate Sakkaraev had already received a warning for violating election legislation concerning voter bribery.
Thus, Sakkaraev has two instances of violating election legislation related to vote buying.
The plaintiff requested in his lawsuit:
- to declare illegal and annul the CEC decision of December 8, 2025, No. 1524;
- to declare illegal and annul paragraphs 2 and 3 of the CEC resolution of December 8, 2025, No. 189, concerning the election results for constituency No. 26:
- to declare the voting results for candidate Mederbek Sakkaraev invalid at all polling stations;
- to declare illegal and annul paragraph 3 of the CEC resolution regarding the recognition of Sakkaraev as elected deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh from constituency No. 26.
