The candidate's representative reported large-scale violations in the elections in district No. 17
According to the information from the agency, on December 3, 2025, a complaint was registered at the Internal Affairs Department of the Jayil District from candidate Ch.A. regarding another candidate, E.Ch. The complaint mentioned possible violations of electoral legislation, including bribery of voters and financial abuses during the campaign.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported that the complaint was accepted for consideration, and an investigation was conducted as part of a criminal case. During the investigation, police officers interrogated witnesses, examined documents from the Central Election Commission, and reviewed materials from the electoral process.
As a result of the investigation, the allegations of vote buying were not confirmed. However, some violations related to the financing of the electoral campaign were identified, including the use of funds outside the electoral fund. Nevertheless, as noted by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, the amounts discovered do not exceed the threshold values established by Article 197 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Violation of the procedure for financing an electoral campaign").
Due to the absence of a crime, a decision was made to refuse to initiate a criminal case based on paragraph 2 of part 1 of Article 27 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Information regarding this case was also sent to the Central Election Commission.
